APPEAL OF THE DIRECTOR FROM DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENT FOR WORLD EARTH DAY ON 22nd APRIL, 2019.

APPEAL OF THE DIRECTOR FROM DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENT FOR WORLD EARTH DAY ON 22nd APRIL, 2019.

The World Earth Day is observed on April 22nd of April every year. Excessive reduction of plant and wildlife populations is connected to causes of species extinction driven by human activity: climate change, deforestation, habitat loss, trafficking and poaching, unsustainable agriculture, pollution and pesticides. Every Single species has its own place in the environment that contributes to the ecosystem but due to manmade activities like Hunting and other natural activities including Environment change most of the species like Amur leopard, cross river Gorilla ,Three toed-Sloth etc., are in list of endangered animals that we may lost in 21st century.

Theme for world earth day: to protect threatened and endangered species.

World Earth Day is used to provide much of the people to know the environmental harms and effects for making a clean and green Environment to live in it. Earth Day Network is asking people to join our Protect our Species campaign. Our goals are to:

Educate and raise awareness about the accelerating rate of extinction of millions of species and the causes and consequences of this phenomenon.

Achieve major policy victories that protect broad groups of species as well as individual species and their habitats.

Build and activate a global movement that embraces nature and its values.

Encourage individual actions such as adopting plant based diet and stopping pesticide and herbicide use.

World Earth Day is celebrated, by providing people for moving in the right way to cooperate with the people who are willing to save and protect nature without any harm to the environment. The government should take various steps to conservation of species and to create a positive attitude to make the people more curious to develop and save the World by saving the Environment.
World Earth Day provides an opportunity for creating awareness among the students and public and to foster biodiversity and species conservation in their communities. Everyone must join the conversation to Protect Our Species and the people to save the Earth by providing them with every knowledge about the security of the Environment as well as provide them ideas and plans to protect the Environment.
