Tamil Nadu EIACP PC HUB, Department of Environment and Climate Change created an awareness about to the Environmental issues to the college students which was held on 22.03.2025 at Thazhambur Panchayat Office, Chengalpattu - 600130. During this programme, Tmt.Karpagam, President of Exnora International - Chengalpattu has welcomed Thiru.R.Sethukumar,EIACP Coordinator and Deputuy Director, Department of Environment and Climate Chang , EIACP staff and other officials. In this connection, Dr.K. Muthukumar, Programme Officer of EIACP PC HUB has delivered an informative session about issues of water contamination particularly focusing on their impact in industrial areas. He outlined the various factors contributing to water pollution such as untreated industrial discharge, improper waste management and the overuse of water resources. Dr.K.Muthukumar further stressed the urgent need for sustainable industrial practices, emphasizing the importance of adopting eco-friendly technologies, responsible water usage and effective waste treatment solutions to prevent water contamination. He also highlighted the role that individuals and industries must play in safeguarding water resources for future generations.
