Tamil Nadu EIACP PC HUB, Department of Environment and Climate Change has conducted a Mission LiFE – Lifestyle for Environment Awareness Programme on 21.03.2025 at Queen Mary’s College, Chennai - 600004. During the programme, Thiru.Tamilmani, Professor of Queen Mary’s College warmly welcomed the EIACP staff, students and college staff. Dr. K. Muthukumar, Programme Officer has delivered an informative session on the background of the seven themes of Mission LiFE, with a special focus on the theme "Alternatives to Single-Use Plastics. He also emphasized how to incorporate the principles of Mission LiFE into daily life for environmental sustainability. Handouts highlighting the key themes of Mission LiFE were distributed to the college students. At the end of the session, the students took a pledge to uphold the values of Mission LiFE, committing to make more sustainable and eco-friendly choices in their everyday lives.
