Ministry of Environment and Forest & Climate Change, Government of India has been introduced of new scheme for Grid Based Decision Support System(GRIDSS), District level environment survey of the country through a Grid Based approach using grids 9 x 9 km or a suitable measurement, depending on the reuirment for effective survey of various environmental parameters. EIACP PC HUB has prepared thematic maps in sectoral wise in each District of Tamil Nadu.
