On the International Conservation of Mangrove Day 2024, Tamil Nadu EIACP PC HUB, Department of Environment and Climate Change, Government of Tamil Nadu has organized Mass Mangrove Tree Plantation drive on 26.07.2024 at Muthupet Mangrove Forest, Thiruvarur District and also conducted a drawing competition and awareness program at AOM Higher Secondary School, Muthupettai. In this program, Thiru.L.C.S. Srikanth, District Forest Officer, Thiruvarur District delivered a speech on the importance of Mangrove conservation. The session included screening a short documentary on mangrove species plantation. Thiru. M. Premkumar, IT Officer, TN EIACP PC HUB, delivered the vote of thanks. More than 200 students participated in the event.
