Tamil Nadu EIACP PC HUB, Department of Environment and Climate Change has created an environmental awareness programme on “World Wetlands Day 2025” on 02.02.2025 atthe Ramsar site – Pallikaranai Wetland in Chennai. Students from DAV Matriculation Higher Secondary School actively participated and Dr. K. Muthukumar, Programme Officer has explained the importance of wetlands and how they contribute to biodiversity. In connection, a special publication for World Wetlands Day 2025 was also released during the programme. The students gained valuable knowledge about wetlands and biodiversity. More than 200 students and Teachers participated in this programme.
