Tamil Nadu EIACP PC HUB, Department of Environment and Climate Change has conducted a workshop on "Emerging Innovations for a Sustainable Environment and Clean Future" on 19.02.2025 at Bharathidasan University,Trichy - 620024.The event aimed to foster discussions on environmental sustainability and climate change, highlighting innovative approaches to address contemporary challenges.InthisworkshopDr.M.Prashanthi Devi, Head of the Department of Environmental Studies delivered a welcome, followed by the Presidential Address by Dr. V. Rajesh Kannan. The guests were honored by Dr.K.Thamaraiselvi, Chair school of Environmental Science followed by her brief address. Thiru. Vivekkumar Parasnath Yadav, I.F.S., Assistant Mission Director, Department of Environment and Climate Change has delivered a very inspiring and thoughtful inaugural address emphasizing the importance of sustainability-driven innovations. Dr.S.Rajakumar proposed the vote of thanks.The workshop featured six insightful sessions by eminent speakers. Each session covered vital topics, from climate resilience to sustainable practices in environmental conservation.The workshop successfully provided a platform for knowledge-sharing, capacity-building, and networking among participants. The diverse range of topics covered helped raise awareness about sustainable practices and inspired participants to contribute actively to environmental conservation.
